Hirwaun Primary School CD Rom
Design and Weave Project

The whole school was involved in the weaving project. Years 4 and 5 worked on a large communal woven tapestry as well as the CD Rom about the work and year 6 produced a composite piece made up of approximately 50 individual pieces of weaving. The theme for the work was "The Community of Hirwaun". An important part of the weaving project was language and this is reflected in the CD Rom by the presentation of both poetry and a song written about the weaving.
