Gwaunfarren Primary School CD Rom
Large Format Digital Print Project

This project involved Years 3 and 4 children. The project to design a large digital print for the school (1m x 3.3m) included the parallel job of producing a CD Rom about the development of the print and the work the children were doing on it. This had to be considered from the very beginning. The theme for the print was the "Geography of Merthyr Tydfil". The introduction for the CD as read by Miss Ceri Stephens, year 4 teacher and Mr. Goff James, year 3 teacher, can be seen below.

"Welcome to our CD Romabout our digital print based upon the goegraphy of our local area. The children of years 3 and 4 worked in collaboration with Mr. Duncan to produce the final print and this CD Rom. We hope you enjoy looking at our work. This project covered all aspects of the geography curriculum for years 3 and 4 and many of those for ICT and art".
